The General Assembly for HiPower 5.0 took place in Brussels from 30 June - 1 July, 2026 hosted by our project partner VUB.

Professor Omar Hegazy welcomed the consortium for a productive meeting focused on strengthening collaboration and fostering synergies.

Day one featured updates across work packages and interactive use case workshops to refine system design and topology. Key discussions addressed project metrics, roadmapping, and future trends, alongside first results from the PHM workshp covering data acqusition, sensor concepts, edge-cloud integration, and RUL estimation. A lab tour offered valuable insigts into VUB's electric mobility research.

On day two, partners presented the use case workshop outcomes and aligned on priorities and next steps for the coming six months - setting a clear path forward.

The venue provided an excellent setting for the event, and participants enjoyed a social dinner at a lovely location, perfectly organized by the hosting partner, VUB. Many thanks to the host for the outstanding arrangements.
